Welcome to https://vidello.com/, a website (the “Site”) operated by Vidello Ltd. (the “Company”). This Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) sets out the basis which Vidello Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of our customers in accordance with the General Data Protection Act (“GDPR”). This Notice applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organisations which we have engaged to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for our purposes.

What data we process

We process personal data that you provided to us and the personal data that we obtained from your order. We process personal data from your account. We may process the personal data obtained through your use of the Site.
We process identification and contact details, data necessary for the performance of the agreement with us, for managing your license, for the provision of technical support, for web analysis and for advertising. We process e.g.
- your name, business name, email, address, and VAT number. Some of this information is optional.
- information about your order, your license and updates
- log information (including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring and exit pages, operating system, dates/time of access, and related data)

What are the purposes of the processing?

We process your personal data:
- to process your order and exercise the rights and obligations arising from the agreement between you and us, which also includes the trial version, including necessary updates and technical support; we need this data for the conclusion and performance of the agreement with you;
- to perform legal obligations incumbent on us, e.g., in the form of storing and issuing accounting documents; in this case the legal basis for the data processing is a legal obligation;
- to communicate with you;
- to send you business messages; we can send you newsletters without your consent if you have already ordered Software from us. In that case this is our legitimate interest. Otherwise, we need your consent. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime;
- to conduct statistical analyses of your behaviour on the Site, to determine your interests, or to retain your preferences on the Site; we can do this on the basis of your consent or our legitimate interest.

How long we process your data

We store your personal data - for the period necessary to exercise the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the controller and the exercise of claims under these contractual relationships; - for the time given by the law if we are required to process the data; - at the longest 5 years as regards your personal data for marketing purposes, unless you unsubscribe from the newsletter earlier. - if you give us consent (except for the consent for marketing purposes), we will process this personal data until you withdraw the consent (unless we specify a shorter time of processing).

We transfer your personal data to the United Kingdom and to the United States. We rely on Adequacy Decisions (Commission implementing decision of 28.6.2021 on the adequate protection of personal data by the United Kingdom) and on Standard Contractual Clauses.
